Why I give up all altcoins and only hold $OKB
After spending a long time in the crypto space, you will understand one truth: the vast majority of altcoins are illusions. Newbies always fantasize about hundredfold or thousandfold gains, but the reality is, veteran holders have lost even their underwear.
The reason I am optimistic about $OKB is very simple:
First, it has the explosive growth potential of altcoins. When market sentiment surges, $OKB’s gains never lag behind mainstream altcoins, yet its liquidity and depth are much more reliable than most air coins.
Second, it has a certainty close to Bitcoin, breaking previous highs in every bull market cycle. It is backed by the OKX ecosystem, with a total supply permanently capped at 21 million tokens, and it continuously deflates as X Layer Gas. This is not a meme; it is a platform token with real value.
The only true faith can only be Bitcoin. I also hold $OKB firmly—not out of faith, but because its potential is not yet fully realized. Its current market cap is only $1.8 billion, while $BNB is nearly $80 billion, a 40x difference. (The future is huge)
A piece of advice for new investors: the crypto market has no ceiling when it rises and no bottom when it falls. When you come in to play, never have faith; make a profit and run. Protecting your principal first is your chip for a comeback.
Except for $BTC and $OKB, don’t get emotionally attached to any coin. Make a profit and leave, don’t be greedy, don’t overthink, don’t listen to stories. This market devours people without mercy; while you watch others’ gains, they watch your principal.
For long-term holdings, I only keep $BTC and $OKB. The rest, I trade quickly and never get attached to battles. This is not conservatism; it’s a lesson learned through blood and tears.

Many beginners wonder why contract fees are sometimes very expensive? Today, let's explain it to everyone.
There are two types of contract fees:
😜 Maker order transaction fee: 0.0200%
😳 Taker order transaction fee: 0.0500%
What is a maker order transaction?
It means when you place an order, the price is a bit away from the current price, and it waits in the queue to be filled, that counts as a maker order.
What is a taker order transaction?
Market price direct buy/sell, market price close position, or an order that is immediately filled all count as taker orders, charged at 0.0500%.
In simple terms:
Instant fill = taker fee 0.0500%
Maker order placed away from current price, slowly filled in queue = maker fee 0.0200%
⚠️ But please note! Limit orders can also become taker orders!
Even if you choose a limit order, if the buy order price is higher than the current market price (for example: current price is 100,000, you place a buy at 101,000), the system will directly take existing orders on the book and fill immediately.
Nominally a limit order, but actually a taker order, still charged 0.0500% fee.
To get the 0.0200% maker fee rate, remember one thing:
Buy order price must be lower than the current market price;
Sell order price must be higher than the current market price.

I have liquidated all my coins, now my position only holds $OKB.
Next step, plan to buy $OKB in batches at the bottom.

What supports my idea mainly are these two things:
① The XLayer on-chain ecosystem has recently come alive, and the official team is strongly supporting RWA Meme coins that are truly doing things.
Looking at the on-chain data, the total transaction volume in 24 hours surged to over 7.8 million, led by a token called ($Paola), with a single-day transaction of 1.36 million, kicking off the heat first; a series of Meme coins are taking turns with capital testing the market, although there are ups and downs, the overall transaction volume is genuinely expanding, and funds are already warming up.
② On October 6th, the Singapore OKX Now conference, the official team will showcase the full layout of market, payment, on-chain finance, AI, next-generation financial infrastructure, sounds very impressive, and I still trust OKX's technology.
The key point is — build first, discuss later, not just empty talk.
On-chain heat + Meme sentiment + conference expectations, feels like this big wave is coming.
🤣 All positive for $OKB, so when it dips, I will buy, buy, buy, just afraid there won't be another chance.
Reiterate: Crypto is extremely risky, the market can fluctuate at any time, optimistic or not, always manage your position well.

$OKB seems to be gradually rising.
Recently, it's clear that the opportunity lies with MEME on the XLayer chain.
Previously, the other side rode a wave of ecosystem momentum driven by MEME, and now the spotlight has clearly shifted to OKX and XLayer.
The ecosystem is slowly heating up, on-chain activity is visibly recovering, and various new MEMEs and new narratives are emerging one after another.
$OKB is the native Gas token of XLayer; all transaction fees on the entire network must use it. It is the foundational core asset of the entire XLayer ecosystem, and as the ecosystem grows, it is the easiest to benefit from the dividends.
XLayer is also continuously taking action, with $5 million in RWA incentives and MEME trading competitions underway, contract deployment volume and on-chain TVL steadily increasing.
I am very optimistic about $OKB now: its market cap is too low, seriously undervalued, so I have added some to my position.
Market trends are market trends, and strategies are strategies, but I still remind everyone: optimism is fine, but position sizes must be stable, don’t recklessly over-leverage.
Especially MEME coins carry high risk, be prepared for the possibility of total loss. (Not recommended for beginners)
