The $900M HYPE “unlock” headline is wrong. The market just got the smaller number.
Today’s actual release is 3.75M HYPE (~$350M), not the widely quoted 9.9M. Even more important: the entire block is going OTC to one institutional buyer, not directly into public order books.
HYPE: $93.45 on OKX, just 4.7% below its ATH.
The next clue is on-chain: where do those 3.75M tokens go after settlement?
