Gold is down today while oil keeps climbing.
Spot gold is around $4,403, down about 0.6%.
Brent is near $97.5.
Usually you’d expect geopolitical tension to push gold higher.
But rate-hike expectations are doing the opposite.
This is a good reminder: markets don’t trade headlines. They trade the reaction to them.
