One Year Ago, Crypto Experienced Its Biggest Liquidation Event.
On October 10, 2025, the crypto market went through one of its most severe liquidation events in history.
More than $16.69 billion in long positions and $2.46 billion in short positions were reportedly liquidated in a single day, bringing the total to approximately $19.15 billion.
The event showed how quickly market conditions can change when volatility rises and leveraged positions become vulnerable.
