#OracleAICloudUp121% Oracle’s AI cloud revenue grew 121% YoY, accelerating from 93% last quarter. That’s the number that immediately stood out to me 🚀
Revenue and EPS both beat estimates, remaining performance obligations increased from $638B to $664B, and Oracle raised its guidance. Demand clearly isn’t the problem.
The tension is what it costs to meet that demand. Data-center capex remains high, free cash flow is still under pressure, and a huge backlog only becomes valuable when Oracle can deliver the capacity and convert contracts into profitable revenue 🏗️
Adobe also beat expectations and raised its full-year outlook, yet the market remains cautious about how quickly its AI products can create incremental revenue.
To me, both reports point to the same question: AI demand is visible, but when does it become efficient growth?
Oracle’s acceleration is impressive. The next milestone is proving that infrastructure spending can eventually strengthen—not continually absorb—cash flow.
