About Anthropic30TTAM

WSJ sources say Anthropic may pitch IPO investors a TAM above $30T, topping SpaceX's $28.5T estimate. TAM assumes all potential demand is captured, not a revenue forecast. Anthropic expects 2028 revenue of about $190B-$200B, only ~0.6% of that market. Can enterprise software and knowledge work justify the TAM, and can model differentiation, retention and pricing win real share? With compute and R&D costs high, can this scale deliver profit and cash flow rather than just lift the IPO valuation?

Anthropic tells investors a $30 trillion story, surpassing SpaceX's $28.5 trillion — how much of the AI "market size narrative" can be realized? Three questions the market needs to verify as the public IPO filing approaches, investors need to judge: 1. Is the TAM reasonable: Does the $30 trillion cover the real demand for enterprise software and knowledge work? 2. Can the share be captured: Can model differentiation, customer reten#BTC80KHoldOrFold #WarshAtJacksonHole #IranSanctionsAndTalks

A $30T TAM makes an incredible IPO headline. Capturing it is another story. Anthropic's projected $190B-$200B revenue in 2028 would equal only about 0.6% of that opportunity. That's why I'd ignore the giant TAM and watch retention, pricing power and compute costs instead. AI can transform knowledge work and still produce disappointing returns if economics don't scale. The IPO shouldn't be valued on how big AI could become, but how much value Anthropic can actually keep. #Anthropic30TTAM

That’s the potential market Anthropic reportedly believes AI could eventually address and honestly, that number is difficult to ignore. But I think there’s an important distinction here: $30T TAM doesn’t mean Anthropic expects to make $30T. It represents the theoretical size of the opportunity if AI becomes capable of handling a much larger share of work across software, research, finance, customer service and other industries. Personally, I find the idea exciting, but I’m also a little skeptical of numbers this large. AI is clearly becoming more useful, but there’s still a big gap between “AI can potentially do this work” and “customers will actually pay AI companies enough to capture that value.” That’s what I’ll be watching. Not how big companies say the AI opportunity could become, but how quickly real adoption, revenue and productivity actually catch up with those expectations. #Anthropic30TTAM $BTC

Seems like $50b/ GW is the new standard, Anthropic has already signed compute contracts committing to over $150B this year. That’s a $25-$30B opex annually. Even if they expect revenues over $100B in 27 that’s still a pretty leveraged bet. 3 scenarios that could upend their analysis - 1. Enterprise AI usage ceases to be token based & becomes a fixed cost 2. The price of MW surges 3. Smaller distilled projects with similar capabilities offered at a fraction of the FLOPs

Anthropic is paying $45B over six years for 460MW of Vera Rubin compute at Nscale’s West Virginia campus. Contract economics: >$45B ÷ 6 years = $7.5B/year >$7.5B ÷ 0.46GW = $16.3B/GW-year >Nscale maps the initial 1.35GW to ~430,000 GPUs (PR): 430,000 ÷ 1,350MW = ~319 GPUs/MW 460MW × 319 = ~146,500 Anthropic GPUs $45B ÷ (146,500 GPUs × 8,760 hours × 6 years) = $5.84 per available GPU-hour, or $6.87 at 85% utilization. The initial phase is three buildings totaling 1.35GW of IT capacity. The first comes online in late 2027, with the others following in 2028. Estimated capex: >$47B GPUs (66%) >$17.7B data centers >$6.5B onsite power = ~$71B total That equals $52.6B/GW including GPUs, or $17.9B/GW for the physical infrastructure alone. Still hovering around that ~$50B capex per GW figure. The campus is being energized by 2GW of onsite natural-gas generation plus batteries, designed to operate independently of the public grid.

Welcome to @HyperliquidX, from a desk that has traded here every day for almost two years, since before the $HYPE TGE. Our first $HYPE fill printed at $2 handle. io:ANTH marks Anthropic at $2T, double the sub-$1T round it raised $65B at in May, with the IPO weeks away and funding at zero. 7 things from Bloomberg before you trade $ANTH, then 3 on the plumbing. 1. Filing could be public by end of August, listing expected within weeks. 2. The raise targets SpaceX's $86.2B record. 3. Q2 revenue topped $11.5B, 14x Q2 2025's $787M and double Q1's $4.73B. 4. Run rate passed $65B by end of July, seven times the end-2025 pace, and Q2 posted the first positive adjusted operating income. At $2T the perp is 31x that run rate. 5. The pitch is a $30T revenue opportunity; 2025 loss near $42B. 6. Founders get super-voting shares. A judge signalled Reddit's scraping suit will proceed, and the Pentagon's supply chain risk designation is in litigation. 7. Capex: the revolver is going past $10B, $16B of project finance for the Hubbard, Texas data center, Decart talks at about $6B, and Google's ex-TPU chief Amir Salek hired for in-house silicon. The plumbing. Our HYPE++ vault contract went live on 20 Nov 2024, nine days before the $HYPE TGE. Receipt attached. 1. io:ANTH is a HIP-3 market, so Entropy runs the oracle, not Hyperliquid. Longs carry nothing to the IPO, and nothing but the IPO pulls the mark to fair. 2. Validators can slash the deployer's HYPE bond, $40M here, for oracle misbehaviour. That bond is the counterparty's skin in the game, not the $14M raise. 3. $3.56M open interest on $10.5M daily volume is a thin book for a $2T name. Do not take it as holy grail. Hyperliquid

We are releasing the first liquid way to trade Anthropic. For far too long, frontier assets have only been accessible to a select few. We are here to bring them to the masses. Introducing EntropyIO. We’ve raised $14M led by Ribbit Capital and a $40M HYPE stake to build both improved and entirely new markets, the first of which are live on Hyperliquid today.

WSJ: "Anthropic more than doubled its revenue to $11.6 billion in the second quarter. To put its more than $30 trillion vision in context, the 191 technology companies in the S&P 1500 brought in $2.4 trillion in revenue last year, according to FactSet" ... 🧮 🤔

#Anthropic估算30万亿美元市场,IPO叙事能否兑现? The AI hype contest has set a new record again. Anthropic is preparing to present investors with a $30 trillion market opportunity in its IPO prospectus. What does $30 trillion mean? The global GDP in 2025 is expected to be around $115 trillion. But this $30 trillion is just a theoretical ceiling, not an actual revenue forecast. #BTC80KHoldOrFold #WarshAtJacksonHole #IranSanctionsAndTalks
