#特斯拉交付超预期后盈利修复成焦点 Tesla's automotive and energy storage businesses have both experienced a decline in profitability. Roughly calculated using vehicle revenue and delivery volume, Tesla's revenue per vehicle in the second quarter was about $42,700, approximately $2,600 less than the previous quarter. Coupled with the overall rise in manufacturing costs, Tesla's automotive business gross margin fell from 19.2% in the first quarter to 16.3% in the second quarter.#NetflixQ3AdsAndMargins 【Crypto Circle Script】

People used to say AI is a money-burning machine
The stronger the model, the more money it burns
Now finally someone is starting to make money
But the capital market is actually not that excited
It used to double in one quarter
Now growth is 45%
Wall Street is actually starting to complain it's too slow
Just telling stories is no longer enough
This is actually the same logic as in the crypto circle
The bull market trades on imagination
When the market cools down, you have to look at real skills
Bitcoin at least still has a scarcity narrative
AI companies are really competing with real technology
Today you are the industry leader
Tomorrow, when someone updates their model
Your moat might be breached
Technological revolution does not mean stock prices will always rise
A good company doesn't mean every price is worth buying
Brothers, do you think AI is a bubble now
Or is the next wealth revolution just beginning?
$BTC $ETH 🚨 ETH$ETH Alert sounded! Harker makes a strong statement: If inflation doesn't cool down, the Federal Reserve may be forced to hike rates more aggressively!
What ETH really needs to watch out for might not be a single rate hike, but the possibility of the Fed re-entering a tightening cycle! $BTC $ETH
Just now, Cleveland Fed President Harker sent another hawkish signal. She clearly warned that if U.S. businesses and households gradually develop an "inflation mindset," believing that high inflation will persist long-term, the Fed may have to take more aggressive monetary policy actions than currently expected in the future.
The most worrisome part of her statement lies in her policy approach: rather than waiting for inflation expectations to spiral out of control and then hiking rates sharply, it's better to act early and push rates to a more restrictive level.
What does this mean?
1. What ETH fears most is the market repricing interest rates
For ETH, the Fed's hawkish signals are far from irrelevant macro noise.
If inflation remains high, the market may reassess the future space for rate cuts and even increase caution about further hikes. Once U.S. Treasury yields rise and the dollar strengthens, valuations of risk assets could come under pressure. #美国CPI与PPI双超预期,年内能否再加息? #奈飞增长或放缓,广告业务成新看点 #BTC现货ETF再度净流出,机构买盘能否回暖? #奈飞增长或放缓,广告业务成新看点
Netflix's growth slowdown is an established reality. Advertising business is a long-term growth highlight, but its scale is limited in the short term and unlikely to explode in a single quarter. The company guides Q3 EPS at only $0.82; reaching an EPS of $0.84 requires multiple positive factors aligning, which is a high bar. I believe this quarter's EPS will most likely be less than or equal to $0.84.【Anthropic is already making money, yet AI concept stocks are still collectively taking hits】
$ANTHROPIC reported $16.8 billion in revenue for Q3, a 46% quarter-over-quarter increase, and posted its first adjusted profit—a performance so impressive it seems unreal. But on the same day, the Nasdaq $QQQ fell 1.88%, the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index dropped over 4%, and CoreWeave plunged as much as 16% intraday. AI is clearly becoming more profitable, yet the funds speculating on AI are pulling out, which is somewhat awkward.
The market’s concern is no longer whether there is demand for AI, but how much money this business needs to burn to keep growing. Anthropic’s revenue rose from $4.73 billion in Q1 to $16.8 billion in Q3, but its growth rate slowed sharply from 143% in Q2 to 46%. Revenue is still increasing, but the growth slope has clearly shifted down.
Meanwhile, CoreWeave’s CDS soared above 1100 basis points, and bond yields are approaching 16%. Anthropic has over $518 billion in compute infrastructure commitments over the next decade. AI companies are making money, but the companies buying their equipment and building data centers are burdened with high-interest debt—this is the core of the funding panic.
This round feels more like the AI industry chain is squeezing valuations and checking cash flow, not that AI demand has suddenly disappeared. If subsequent revenues continue to grow and financing costs fall, the heavily sold compute stocks may recover first; but as long as high interest rates and debt pressures persist, just telling stories with revenue growth is no longer enough.ETH stuck at 2450. Who is actually naked between the 187 million long positions from the whale and the 6.78 million buy orders?
Checked the market this morning, Bitcoin is grinding around 2440.
Last night it dipped to a low of 2317, clearing a bunch of long positions with liquidations close to 900 million.
But this morning it bounced back to 2450, and shorts got liquidated for 87.43 million.
Longs and shorts both got hit, a back-and-forth wash.
There are two signals worth watching:
First, an ancient whale dormant for 9 years transferred 6369 ETH into Kraken at a cost basis of 14 dollars, with unrealized profits nearing 16 million.
Old coins are moving, the market is a bit nervous.
Second, Coinbase has a spot ETH buy order at 2328 dollars for 6.78 million, about 4.55% below the current price.
Combined nearby buy orders total 19.49 million, while sell orders are only 10.91 million, net buy orders exceed sell orders by 8.57 million.
Big money is supporting from below.
Even more exciting, a whale opened 187 million worth of BTC and ETH long positions with maximum leverage 4 hours ago.
ETH longs are 15,270 coins, entry price 2455, liquidation price only 2406.
In other words, at the 2450 level, bulls are holding strong; 40 points below is the line between life and death.
Right now it's grinding back and forth between 2400 and 2500.
I have no positions, watching empty-handed.
Chasing longs risks getting trapped, chasing shorts risks being stopped out, better to wait for it to choose a direction on its own.
Are you currently flat waiting, or have you already jumped in?👇

#美国CPI与PPI双超预期,年内能否再加息? #BitMine增持至581.5万枚ETH,质押率约87% U.S. stocks (especially companies in mature industries) often pay dividends. The core reasons can be attributed to the combined effects of four major factors: shareholder culture, tax system, company lifecycle, and market structure. 1. Shareholder Culture: Dividends are the "hard truth" The U.S. stock market is dominated by institutional investors (pension funds, mutual funds, insurance funds) who seek long-term stable returns, and dividends are an important source of income. - Many fund contracts require investment in companies with stable dividends; - If management does not pay dividends and cannot provide evidence of high growth, they are easily pressured by shareholders or even face "voting with their feet"; - Dividends are seen as a sign of responsibility to shareholders and good corporate governance. 2. Tax System: Dividends are "not a loss" U.S. tax law has historically encouraged dividends: - 1913–1953: Individual dividend tax rates were lower than ordinary income tax rates, encouraging companies to pay dividends; - The 2003 Jobs and Growth Tax Relief Reconciliation Act: dividend tax rates were reduced to a maximum of 15% (partially extended later), greatly increasing the after-tax attractiveness of dividends; - In contrast, stock buybacks historically did not have significant tax advantages (only becoming more popular in recent years). The result is: dividends have a controllable tax burden for shareholders, and companies are willing to pay them. 3. Company Lifecycle: Mature companies "have too much money" Many companies in the U.S. stock market are leaders in mature industries (consumer, financial, pharmaceutical, utilities, etc.): - Their growth slows down, so they do not need to reinvest all profits; - They have too much cash on hand, better to distribute it to shareholders to avoid management making poor investments ("selfFalling for three days, but the rate still clings above zero: Bulls are stubborn, but their hands are soft
Conclusion for tonight: The way it has fallen these three days is not panic, but a dull knife cutting flesh.
BTC 80,548, down 2.38% in 24h, lowest hit 80,228, just a breath away from 80,000. ETH 2,354, down 4.6%, 2400 lost. SOL 101.93, even 100 is hanging by a thread.
But the rate surprised me: BTC 0.0038%, ETH 0.0044%, all just above zero, stubbornly not turning negative. Three consecutive days of decline, yet bulls still pay interest on time.
In plain terms, they are stubborn: whether admitting mistake or not, positions are held firmly; but 0.0038% is less than half of the normal 0.01%, so no one dares to add positions. 72% Yes is overpriced. Fading.
Risk 28c to win 72c.Last night’s show had two acts: the first half was a ghost story, the second half a plot twist.
PPI at 6.3%, the highest in four years, hit hard, causing BTC to briefly drop below 80,000 to 79,725. Everyone thought 80,000 was gone, but what happened?
It bounced back late at night to 82,216. The Dow Jones even rose 1%, the bond market rebounded, and the 10-year yield dropped 12 basis points.
Is the bad news all out? My answer is, half of it.
The half that’s out is on the price side. The 79,725 dip was sharp but quickly recovered; there were buyers at 80,000. The bond market rebound with a 12 basis point drop in yields is the first decent good news in two weeks.
The half that’s not out is the fundamentals. CPI at 3.7%, PPI at 6.3%, both still very high.
Officials are still hawkish: Daly said we can’t just wait and see anymore, and Harker said if inflation expectations become entrenched, rate hikes will exceed expectations. On the AI side, data center bonds are being collectively sold off; CoreWeave’s bonds dropped to 80 cents on the dollar, with a 15% yield.
So is this a rebound or a reversal? It’s a rebound with some truth. Holding 80,000 is real, but inflation hasn’t peaked either. My measure is that until BTC holds above 83,000, it’s just a rebound.
My approach remains unchanged: watch the show. Holding 80,000 is the bulls’ business, not mine.
What do you think, is 79,725 the bottom for this week, or just halfway up the mountain?
#波动雷达:币种异动观察 $BTC $ETH $ZEC I am actually more cautious about Bitcoin's short-term market than I was a few days ago.
Because the market has shown a signal that is very worth being wary of.
The US 10-year Treasury yield has clearly fallen, the dollar has weakened, and gold has risen.
According to past logic, these should have been favorable for Bitcoin.
But Bitcoin once dropped to around $80,000.
More importantly, on October 14, the US spot Bitcoin ETF had a net outflow of $261 million.
This made me start to doubt one thing:
The market might not be trading on liquidity easing, but on risk.
There are two completely different reasons for the decline in Treasury yields.
One is that the market expects a rate cut and funds are preparing to re-enter risk assets.
The other is that investors are scared and start buying Treasuries for safety.
If it is the second, then the yield decline may not necessarily save Bitcoin.
I will focus on observing three signals next.
First, whether Bitcoin can stabilize above $83,000 again.
Second, whether ETFs can continuously restore net inflows.
Third, when Treasury yields continue to fall, whether Bitcoin rebounds along or continues to weaken.
If the macro environment improves but Bitcoin still lacks buying interest, I will remain cautious.
But if the next round of negative news appears and Bitcoin does not fall further, with funds starting to flow back steadily, I will also change my judgment.
I am increasingly convinced of one truth:
The real bottom is not when everyone thinks it's cheap.
But when bad news can no longer scare away the last batch of holders.
My money can wait.
But the market is under no obligation to rise according to my beliefs. #美国CPI与PPI双超预期,年内能否再加息?
The possibility of a rate hike in October is currently around 30%, while a rate hike in December is almost certain.
The current federal funds rate range is 3.75% to 4.00%. The next FOMC meeting is on October 27-28. After the CPI release, the market briefly pushed the probability of an October rate hike close to 50%, but it then fell back to the 27% to 33% range. Although the PPI is hotter—up 1.3% month-over-month and 6.3% year-over-year, the largest increase since 2022—the expectation for an October rate hike slightly declined, partly due to rising Treasury yields and some Fed officials signaling "no rush to act in October."
The situation in December is completely different. CME FedWatch shows about a 90% probability of at least one rate hike before the end of the year, with most major investment banks' baseline forecasts calling for a 25 basis point hike in December, pushing the rate range to 4.00%-4.25%. Bank of America expects one hike each in October and December.
It is important to note that the U.S. midterm elections are in early November, and analysts believe the Fed may be reluctant to hike rates in the week before the election, adding extra political constraints to the October meeting. New York Fed President Williams previously stated he thinks one more hike this year is appropriate but did not specify a timing.
For the crypto market, the real pressure comes from the expectation of rate hikes before the end of the year, not whether the October hike materializes. As long as the market believes the rate path is moving upward, the liquidity premium on risk assets will be compressed. From Bank Conference Rooms to On-Chain Settlement: The Real Value of XRP Lies Not in the Story, but in Closed-Loop Adoption
Many people know XRP from its historical surges or the years-long litigation between Ripple and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. But judging XRP should not be based solely on K-line charts, nor should every Ripple partnership be equated with positive price impact.
What truly deserves study is the institutional path Ripple has gradually formed over the past decade: from cross-border payment networks to digital asset custody, stablecoins, and institutional clearing. In August 2025, the SEC and Ripple withdrew their appeals, significantly reducing long-term legal uncertainty; in October 2026, Ripple partnered with DriveWealth to explore stablecoin settlement, cross-border funding, and custody integration, indicating that its product boundaries are still expanding.
However, there is no automatic transmission between partnership news, company valuation, RLUSD adoption, and XRP price increases. The core judgment of this article is: Ripple’s scarcest asset is not any single payment channel, but its ability to enter the compliance systems of banks, brokerages, and payment institutions; the most controversial aspect of XRP is that this ability has yet to stably translate into on-chain usage, token demand, and holder value. #美国CPI与PPI双超预期,年内能否再加息? $XRP $BTC $ETH $ETH shorts really shouldn't just stare at the indicators; first, see who is sitting on the other side of your chips.
Brother Maji's move here is quite outrageous: he lost from $12.25 million down to just $21,800, then immediately deposited 250,000 USDT, went long with 25x leverage, pushing the position up to $7.37 million, with a liquidation price at 2333. Wow, his bottom cards are basically laid out on the table.
For such a big player with open cards, in the eyes of liquidity hunters, it's like a target lit up with a lamp. If the price really approaches 2333, the liquidation of over $7 million below is the fattest, most obvious piece of meat.
So shorts don't need to guess the sentiment; just follow the liquidation path and watch the show. Around 2333, wait for the explosion.
Just an observation from the market, not investment advice.
$BTC $SOL Is there any expert who knows FIL well and can tell if it will strengthen in the future?
FIL is holding above one dollar.
Screenshot at 7:45 AM: OKEx FIL/USDT spot at 1.1655, up 8.08% in one day, highest 1.2010, lowest 1.0023. Daily EMA5 at 1.1213, EMA10 at 1.1077, EMA20 at 1.0763, price is above all three EMAs in order. The starting point on the left of the chart is 0.7541, the peak is 1.2769. By the way, to correct a number, the historical high found is around 237.24 on April 1, 2021; I couldn't find the source for 270, and 99% of that has been lost now.
1 USD is a strong support, and the market gives evidence: in September it pushed above 1.00, and this morning the lowest was 1.0023, stopping just above the threshold without slipping below, with EMA20 still supporting from below. But by the usual rule, a level needs to be tested two or three times to be called strong support; 1.00 has only been tested once this morning. The cursor on the chart is at 0.9830, which is 15.65% below the current price; if it really falls there, the next supports are only 0.90 and the starting point 0.7541. MACD is also loosening, DIFF 0.0474 crossed below DEA 0.0516, histogram −0.0084, today's high 1.2010, 1.2769 has not been hit yet.
Grinding between 1.00 and 1.20 is the most probable scenario, given 45% chance; distance to 1.00 is 14.2%, distance to 1.2010 only 3.0%, neither side is close enough to confirm. Breaking above 1.2769 to look at the 1.32 level is given 30% chance, reason being the bullish alignment is still intact, daily release dropped from 648,000 to 365,000 coins, and on-chain cloud is also attracting real clients like AI and archives. Breaking below 1.00 to retest the 0.90 area is given 25% chance, because support has only been tested once, and BTC has already fallen below 80,000; on October 15, one-hour total long positions across the network liquidated $457 million. The three scenarios spread as 45%, 30%, 25%. Simply put, don't guess the rise or fall, just watch 1.00 and 1.2769; whichever is broken first on the daily close will give the direction.
Also remember the date: Binance will suspend FIL deposits and withdrawals starting at 19:59 on October 19 for a hard fork, so it's generally hard to predict these days. Also admit a shortcoming: the spot page screenshot has no volume bars, OI is empty, so I can't confirm volume on this dimension; confidence in the above three numbers should be downgraded one level.
Leaving the words to everyone. At what cost tier do you hold FIL? Will you reduce a bit before the fork? If 1.00 really breaks, should it be called a shakeout or a breakdown? When forming LP, I noticed Mastercard, which has been very strong since I started following it. (Always breaking out of the range 😂) As of October 13, the stock price has risen for 8 consecutive trading days, with a cumulative increase of about 9%, breaking through the technical buy point of $601.23. Even though the US stock market has recently been affected by inflation concerns, MA still shows strong resilience. I believe there are three main reasons behind this 👇 1️⃣ Stable consumer payment business Mastercard's core business is the payment network. As long as consumption and cross-border transactions continue, the company can earn revenue from transactions. The market remains optimistic about transaction volumes in the payment industry recently, and investors are waiting for the earnings report to verify whether consumer resilience will continue. 2️⃣ Analysts raise target price, combined with earnings expectations Baird recently raised MA's target price from $660 to $710, maintaining an outperform rating. The company is expected to announce its Q3 earnings on October 29, and the market is starting to position ahead of earnings expectations. However, note that analyst target prices are not guaranteed stock price levels, and the rise before earnings may also mean some positive factors have already been priced in. 3️⃣ Technical breakout attracts capital follow-up MA broke through the previous technical buy point and has continued to strengthen over multiple trading days. Trend trading funds may enter as a result, further driving the stock price up. However, after continuous gains, profit-taking should also be watched out for. My judgment: This round of MA's rise seems more like a resonance of fundamental expectations, earnings catalysts, and technical factors."Breakfast Table: Three Consecutive Bullish Candles, I Didn't Rush to Applaud" ☕
Just finished washing up, I took my breakfast to the balcony. The first thing I checked wasn’t the K-line chart, but the position table—colder than a steamed bun half-cooled 📊.
Traders on OKX are withdrawing: Bitcoin positions dropped 3.34% overnight, Ethereum down 6.35%, SOL down 1.37%. Yet Bitcoin climbed back near 82,200, up 0.81%, Ethereum rose above 2,440, up 0.86%, SOL returned to 105.3, up 0.79%. Positions decreased but prices rose; the increase isn’t from new money, it’s short covering.
But elsewhere, some are entering: Bitcoin’s total network positions barely moved, SOL’s total network positions increased by 1.92%, the only one adding exposure. The funds withdrawn from OKX may not have left the market, just switched tables 🔄.
Liquidation orders confirm the shift in control: 859 million liquidated across the network in 24 hours, over 80% longs, 163,000 traders out. But in the last 4 hours, the trend reversed, shorts liquidated surpassed 51.6%, shorts are starting to pay back. Funding rates are all positive; Bitcoin’s on OKX is still 0.0050%, Ethereum peaks at 0.0081%, longs are holding overnight fees firmly.
Interestingly, Ethereum whales: the short interest ratio is only 0.82, but their positions ratio is 1.22—they got on board first.
My view: This table is changing hands. I won’t chase until this short covering rally burns out. The next move depends on two signals: whether SOL’s 1.92% position increase can form a trend, and whether the short squeeze can extend from 4 hours to 24 hours.
The old table is gone, the new one hasn’t started yet—this breakfast, I’ll eat slowly 👀, quietly watching the show 😀🔴 My Prediction: TESLA (TSLA) — NO
Tesla’s Q3 earnings could disappoint if profitability remains under pressure. In Q2 2026, Tesla reported non-GAAP EPS of $0.33, below market expectations. For this market, Tesla needs to report non-GAAP EPS above $0.43 for YES.
I’m leaning toward NO because the earnings threshold may be harder to beat than expected. Let’s see what the official results reveal on October 21! 📊

$BNB burning is divided into two types: automatic burning is influenced by coin price and block production rhythm; BEP-95 occurs proportionally and in real-time with Gas fees. An increase in announced numbers cannot be directly used to infer revenue growth. One should observe whether on-chain fee-paying activity continues and how much each type of burning contributes. Supply contraction is worth noting, but the reason determines whether the logic can continue.
$AVAX requires calculating net supply. Staking rewards come from new issuance, while transaction fees are burned. Rewards increase coins, burning decreases coins; choosing only one leads to distortion. Offset rewards and burning in the same period, then judge whether supply is tightening. The busier the transactions, the more burning may offset, but it depends on actual amounts.
$SUI has a total cap of 10 billion, and circulation will still be released as planned. A fixed total supply and increasing circulation can coexist. To study demand, new usage and concurrent unlocking should be considered together. Unlocking does not equal mandatory selling, but tradable supply changes. Market absorption should be calculated based on actual circulation.
In summary, burning, issuance, and unlocking are three types of changes. First, break down the sources, then calculate net changes in the same period, and finally look at real usage. Don't let a single data point determine valuation conclusions.

The story is not finished, but the market is already pricing in whether the performance can hold. #美国CPI与PPI双超预期,年内能否再加息? The market is unusually quiet, as if yesterday's $1.1 billion was quietly swallowed by someone. Have you ever seen good news drop but the price remains completely still? The US spot BTC ETF had a single-day net inflow of $1.1 billion, the strongest since April, ending five consecutive days of outflows. Normally, such a large buy order should push the price up. But BTC is just hovering around 82171, barely moving. This "no reaction" is actually more worth watching than a big surge. My own understanding is: truly large-scale absorption is often silent. When huge subscriptions come in but the market doesn't chase higher, it means there is an opposing party steadily selling, and the buyers are not in a hurry. This silent absorption usually means chips are transferring from short-term traders to more patient accounts. Looking across markets, this signal is not limited to crypto. US stock risk appetite has warmed recently, the dollar hasn't strengthened significantly, and funds are willing to return to high-volatility assets, but more cautiously—not chasing highs, just buying dips. ETH and major altcoins haven't followed this rhythm, indicating this wave of money is targeting BTC's "allocation attribute," not narrative speculation. Sector rotation is therefore narrow, hotspots are scattered and weak in continuity, and the tolerance for chasing highs is decreasing. The bullish path is clear: if subscriptions continue to increase tomorrow and the price can hold above 84250, then this sideways movement is a turnover rather than a peak, and the rebound after absorption is often sharp. ETH and quality altcoins may follow with a wave of sentiment. But the risk is also here. If the inflow is just a single-day pulse and the data turns negative the day after tomorrow, then today's calm isTesla's earnings report after the market close on 10/21, delivery data released: 486,500 vehicles, slightly beating expectations. But what really determines the stock price isn't how many cars were sold, but these key numbers:
Automotive gross margin excluding credits — 15% is the watershed
FSD subscription net increase — Q2 active subscriptions at 1.48 million, watch the growth rate
Robotaxi actual operating vehicles/cities — don't listen to PPTs, look at hard data
Free cash flow — Q2 already at -$1.09 billion, further negative means AI cash burn is still accelerating
Market expects revenue around $27.9 billion, EPS estimates vary widely (0.26 to 0.45), so don't panic if there's a gap up after hours.
My judgment: this quarter is likely stable sales, tight profits, and cash flow under pressure. The final direction depends on how Musk discusses Robotaxi and Optimus pacing in the earnings call — solid news will restore sentiment, just painting a rosy picture is already fully priced in. #奈飞增长或放缓,广告业务成新看点
Netflix will release its Q3 earnings report after the U.S. market closes on October 20. According to the company's previous guidance, revenue for this quarter is expected to be about $12.86 billion, a year-over-year increase of approximately 12%; operating margin is expected to reach 33.2%, higher than 28.2% in the same period last year.
Revenue growth has slowed, but profitability continues to improve. This may be the most noteworthy signal in this earnings report.
In the past, Netflix's growth mainly relied on expanding paid subscribers and raising membership prices. But as the streaming market matures, it is becoming increasingly difficult to maintain rapid growth solely through new user additions.
Therefore, the advertising business may become an important growth driver for Netflix in the next phase.
Compared to the traditional subscription model, ad-supported plans can not only attract price-sensitive users but also generate additional revenue through ad impressions, increasing the commercial value per user.
However, the potential of the advertising business does not mean profits have already been realized.
I believe this earnings report should focus on three key metrics:
① The proportion and growth rate of ad-supported plan users to assess the penetration of the ad model.
② Ad inventory fill rate and CPM changes to evaluate whether ad traffic can be effectively monetized.
③ Operating margin and future guidance to determine if revenue growth can continue to convert into profits.
From an investment perspective, Netflix's core issue is no longer just whether it can continue to grow, but whether future profit growth can support the valuation assigned by the market.

On October 14, Standard Chartered officially announced: UAE customers can buy Bitcoin and Ethereum directly within their own bank accounts, with trading, custody, and settlement all integrated—no need to touch any third-party wallets throughout the process.
Don’t underestimate this news. Breaking it down:
🔹 A three-step plan over two years: institutional trial in 2025 → UAE institutions launched in September this year → now opening to high-net-worth retail clients. Each step aligns perfectly with regulatory windows, moving fast and steady.
🔹 It’s not about traffic, it’s about trust. Older generations hesitant to use exchanges? No problem, just put it directly into the bank account you’ve used for decades. The bank’s most valuable asset isn’t the license, but the psychological safety of "someone’s responsible if something goes wrong"—this is what keeps the crypto industry alive.
🔹 Choosing UAE for the launch is strategic: VARA license takes the lead, clear regulation, and a concentration of wealthy individuals. It’s an offensive move into Asia and a defensive stronghold in the Middle East.
⚡ The long-awaited "institutional entry" is truly happening this time—not just buying crypto, but selling it. Transitioning from an "outsider" in the financial system to a "shelf product" of banks, this identity shift is a hundred times more important than price fluctuations.
⚡ The likely next steps: HSBC, DBS, and Hong Kong banks lining up to follow. When buying BTC becomes as mundane as buying financial products, this narrative will be complete.
⚡ The window for retail investors is closing. Once everything is "compliant, safe, and boring," excess returns will disappear.
The ticket to the new era has always been sold only to those brave enough to get on board early. 🚨678 million liquidated! 80% are longs! Wash will reveal his stance at 11:30 AM today!
Brothers, another batch got buried last night.
In the past 24 hours, the entire network liquidated $678 million, with long positions liquidated at $545 million, accounting for 80.41%, which is 4.1 times the shorts. ETH liquidations hit $291 million, BTC liquidations $214 million, with the largest single liquidation at $12.03 million. BTC bottomed at 79,735, then rebounded above 82,300.
Now the whole market is waiting for one person: Wash. At 11:30 AM today, he will speak at the IMF annual meeting in Bangkok. This is the last public statement before the Fed enters a blackout period on Saturday. The probability of a rate hike in October surged from 20% to 55%, now falling back to 40%. According to Bank of America: investors are waiting for him to give the green light for a rate hike. If Wash is hawkish, the market will reprice everything.
AVAX is very interesting here. The overnight low was 9.33, precisely hitting the strong support I previously identified at 9.30. When BTC fell below 80K, AVAX did not follow. On-chain longs and shorts clashed: one giant whale took a loss of 12.2 million and exited, while another giant whale opened a long position of 510,000 AVAX with 5x leverage, floating a profit of 920,000. One side is cutting losses, the other is bottom-fishing, battling around 9.5.
$BTC $AVAX $SOL $NEAR Yesterday, the US stock market was trading on one thing: the vulnerability of AI has been priced in to a certain extent, and money is starting to move to places that can withstand it. The Dow rose 1.08%, closing at 52,177 points. The S&P 500 rose 0.33%, closing at 7,744 points. The Nasdaq barely moved, up only 0.08%. Small caps were stronger, with the Russell 2000 up 1.38%. On the surface, it looks like a rise, but in essence, it's rotation, not a renewed chase of tech. The early session was not good. September's PPI jumped 1.3% month-over-month, far exceeding expectations, and 6.3% year-over-year, the highest in over four years. Normally, this should suppress valuations, but the 10-year Treasury yield actually fell from around 5.19% to about 5.09%. The market chose to believe that "higher for longer" hasn't changed to immediate rate hikes, while extracting risk premiums from AI debt and competition stories. What is really being traded is that semiconductors have fallen for seven consecutive days, with the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index down another 0.9%. Although TSMC's profits hit a record, its outlook for 2027 is cautious. Credit concerns remain for data center-related companies like CoreWeave; AI-related stocks were once hit hard in the early session but later only narrowed their losses. Money did not return to chips but went to healthcare and some consumer sectors. Eli Lilly rose about 3.5%, and UnitedHealth also gained. These non-cyclical, strongly defensive companies have become the parts of the index that truly support the S&P. The tech sector overall is still in the red, just with smaller declines, overshadowed by the breadth of the Dow and small caps. Inflation data is hot, yields are falling, and the AI story is being re-examined in terms of financing costs and return cycles. The market has notSTRK rose by 13%, but the community vote has yet to decide on an independent chain.
As of 8:05 AM Beijing time, OKEx spot price is about $0.08715, with a 24-hour trading volume of approximately $58.82 million. After surging to $0.09877 during the day, the current price is about 11.8% below the peak.
The Starknet community started a 7-day non-binding vote on the 15th, asking holders whether they support continuing research on an independent post-quantum Layer 1 network. Even if the majority votes in favor, it only initiates research; subsequent concrete proposals and votes are still required, and there is currently no launch timetable.
My judgment is that the market has traded a long-term direction, but progress remains at the stage of soliciting intentions. Chasing the price increase can easily lead to mistaking the vote as an approved upgrade.
I am more focused on the formal proposal after the vote ends. If the official side provides an executable plan and timetable, this caution should be adjusted; if there is only hype and the price never recovers the intraday high, the rationale supporting this rally needs to be reassessed.
$STRK Last night at 8:30 (Beijing time), the US September PPI was released: month-on-month **1.3%** (expected 0.5%), year-on-year 6.3% (expected 5.3%), the largest single-month increase since March 2022. Bitcoin plunged in response, once falling below the 80,000 mark, hitting a low around 79,800, then recovering overnight to around 82,150. The entire network saw liquidations of **$973 million** in 24 hours, 92% of which were long positions, with ETH leading at $290 million — this is the fourth liquidation wave in October, with over $1.8 billion in leverage wiped out in four days. Why such a heavy hit? The chain of events is clear in the data. The PPI surge is almost entirely driven by energy: energy prices rose 10.8% month-on-month, gasoline up 20.3%, contributing more than half of the commodity price increase; but the core is also worrying, with PPI excluding food, energy, and trade up 0.5% month-on-month and 5.0% year-on-year, indicating price hikes are not just about oil. Coupled with the same night's release of September retail sales up 0.8% month-on-month (exceeding expectations), initial jobless claims and regional Fed manufacturing surveys all showing strength — the economy is not cooling, inflation is not under control, and the probability of a rate hike in October once surged above 50% (after CPI release). Where the money is flowing is clear: gold rose 1.79% to $4,181, the 10-year US Treasury yield fell back to around 5.05%, and safe-haven fundsGoolsbee from the Chicago Fed dropped a line this morning that those leveraging up need to listen carefully: this month's inflation data is "disappointing," but what worries him most isn't tariffs or the Middle East—it's that if inflation is driven by overheated demand from large-scale AI data center construction, then it's a problem that must be addressed.
To understand this statement: it's the first time the central bank has publicly identified AI capex itself as a source of inflation. Over the past year, everyone has hyped AI as purely positive news, but now it’s showing another face. Every penny it burns is ammunition for the Fed to "not cut rates."
What this means for liquidity-consuming assets like $BTC needs no further explanation. Every delay in rate cuts loosens the foundation of valuations a bit more. Don’t just watch the K-line; take a look at who’s handing the microphone to the Fed. If the semiconductor sector experiences a strong oversold rebound next, my core view is very clear: this is an excellent opportunity to reduce positions, not a reversal rally to go all-in again. $SPCX $MU $SNDK
From today's market structure, we can clearly see market divergence:
MU, after a continuous deep decline, has shown obvious signs of stabilizing at a low level and intraday rebound repair; SPY is supported by defensive sectors like healthcare and consumer, showing overall steady and resilient performance; in contrast, $QQQ is still being dragged down by AI hardware and the semiconductor supply chain, showing weak momentum.
Currently, the entire tech sector has exhibited widespread technical features of halting declines, narrowing losses, and low-level pullbacks. The conditions for an oversold recovery are fully mature. Coupled with the monthly options expiration concentrated tomorrow, short covering, put position adjustments, and market maker hedging are likely to amplify market volatility and trigger a technically strong rebound.
But I must emphasize again: just because the decline has paused does not mean a reversal upward.
This October's semiconductor-level sell-off is a collective weakness across the entire industry chain: memory, optical modules, GPU, CPU, AI computing cloud all collapsed; SOXX is approaching an extreme consecutive decline structure; sector sentiment, capital structure, and candlestick patterns have completely deteriorated.
After continuous market sell-offs, no matter how strong a rebound is, it cannot change the overall adjustment pattern of October. The deadliest mistake in the market is mistaking an oversold rebound for a trend reversal and blindly increasing positions, holding losing trades, or leveraging to recover losses. "Beyond the Buzz, There's an Arithmetic Problem"
Growing the business doesn't mean revenue expands at the same pace. After some HIP-3 markets of $HYPE enter growth mode, fees drop significantly, and trading may become more active, but transaction volume and revenue don't necessarily grow in sync. An extreme assumption: if fees drop to one-tenth, transaction volume must increase tenfold just to break even on fee income. So when volume surges, don't just watch the hype; keep an eye on effective fees, real revenue, and user retention. Price cuts are worthwhile only if they bring long-term customers; otherwise, it's just flashy turnover (。•́︿•̀。)
$AAVE's expansion has a "ceiling." Various assets have deposit/borrow limits adjustable by governance. Raising limits only opens space; revenue still depends on actual borrowing. You need to see if the limits are fully utilized and whether new borrowing is overly concentrated. After capacity is expanded, growth quality must be evaluated separately ( •̀ ω •́ )✧
$XRP's account reserves represent another form of occupation. Minimum balances and on-chain object reserves, as well as deletions or rule changes, all affect occupation. Demand from account growth should be calculated based on actual reserves; look at net new accounts versus net occupation, and don't equate account numbers directly with buying demand (ง •_•)ง
In short: the more eye-catching the numbers, the more you need to complete the calculations behind them~

Don't just watch the crypto circle today. On the US stock side, Microsoft and Micron rose slightly, Nvidia fell more than 1%, SpaceX fell more than 2%, but the three major indexes closed higher overall, with crypto reserve concept stocks and precious metals leading the gains. What does this mean? Risk assets are not collapsing across the board; in the "AI overvaluation + high interest rates" combination, funds are selectively cutting. At BTC 82000 level, when US stocks plunge at the close, it falls first; when US stocks are stable, it doesn't dare to rush recklessly. #BTCETFOutflowsReturn #Inflation data exceeding expectations pushes up US Treasury yields, crypto assets simultaneously under pressure
After the US CPI rose to 3.7%, US Treasury yields increased, and Bitcoin simultaneously retreated from its highs, with a large number of leveraged contracts being liquidated. The two asset classes moving in the same direction does not mean funds are directly shifting from the crypto market to the bond market; it is more a pricing feedback of the same macro expectation across different asset types. Fund rotation follows a different logic: only when the market judges that there is room for interest rates to decline will funds flow from low-risk bonds to risk assets.
Tonight's PPI production data will be a key variable. Consumer CPI reflects end-level prices, while PPI reflects upstream factory costs. If upstream costs continue to rise, US Treasury yields are likely to remain high, and the 80,000 level will become an important support range for Bitcoin; if the data weakens, the market will attribute this round of inflation to oil price disturbances, increasing the possibility of risk capital returning. The current price is repeatedly testing the 80,000 to 81,000 range; once support is broken, the next observation point will be at 78,000.
With tonight's data release, the market's short-term direction will become clear, like the tide touching the reef, revealing whether it will flow over or retreat.
$BTC $ETH $SOL $BTC #台积电Q3净利润超预期,盈利创历史新高 The Fed's Harker said one sentence that is scarier than Twitter's trading calls
The hardest Fed news today is not from the Chair but from Harker. At a Goldman Sachs event in New York, she said: Frequent supply shocks will cause companies to form persistent inflation expectations, possibly forcing the Fed to tighten more aggressively. To translate: When oil prices, shipping costs, and chip costs rise, companies dare to raise prices, the public believes in inflation, and the Fed can only keep hitting risk assets. BTC holding steady at 82000 today is because the market is still waiting for the October rate decision, but Harker's hawkish tone is like a knife hanging over the bulls' necks. #奈飞增长或放缓,广告业务成新看点 Before the PPI release
I think everyone now knows the reason for the current decline, mainly because yesterday's CPI data was off the charts. The market is worried this will prompt the Federal Reserve to be more aggressive. According to CME's forecast data, the probability of a rate hike has risen from 20% to over 50%. The market should have gradually calmed down, but tonight is another inflation data release, the PPI. Although many people don't pay much attention to the PPI, just knowing that PPI + CPI roughly leads to the Fed's most concerned PCE data is enough. Because yesterday's data was off the charts, the market is still quite worried that today's data will also be off the charts, so the mood is quite suppressed. However, according to current market forecasts, the PPI annual rate is slightly down, and the monthly rate is slightly up. If it is within expectations, market panic will definitely decrease. Also, there is a retail data release today that is quite critical, but considering that retail decline amid current inflation is normal, and this month's labor data is not good either, the easing of rate hikes was originally relying on labor data decline. Now that inflation expectations have risen, the probability of rate hikes has also increased. In short, if the PPI data is also off the charts, market sentiment will worsen. If the PPI data is below or equal to expectations, the market will calm down a bit more.
#美国CPI与PPI双超预期,年内能否再加息? $BTC $XAU $XAUT This rebound is much more stable compared to BTC and ETH!!!
First, it sounded the rally horn earlier, leading technology plus BTC and ETH by one step, giving careful traders enough time to quickly enter long positions in BTC and ETH.
Furthermore, the rebound strength is high and the duration is long,
BTC and ETH are still oscillating around the zero line, while gold is oscillating above!!!
This gold uptrend cycle started in 2019 and has now entered its seventh year, with an actual annualized return of 12.3%. The two main pillars driving this cycle—the geopolitical fragmentation leading to reduced accessibility of the dollar system, and concerns over inflation dilution caused by high government debt—have not shown any substantial relief so far. Thomas Bollinger clearly stated in his research report conclusion that the end of this cycle "most likely has not yet occurred." Analysts believe this indicates that gold's value in a multi-asset portfolio does not come from diversification effects but from protection against systemic risk; the signal to reduce gold holdings is not a certain price level, but the easing of geopolitical tensions, progress in fiscal consolidation, and the gold price returning to a negative correlation with real U.S. Treasury yields. #高利率下,黄金还能走多远? Ethereum ($ETH) is currently experiencing a divergence between price weakness and ongoing fundamental improvements. Macro pressures and short-term sell-offs have dominated the price action, but on-chain staking, ETF capital flows, and upcoming major upgrades are quietly reshaping the medium- to long-term structure.
📉 Price and Technicals: Breaking Key Support, Short-Term Bearish Structure
As of October 15, ETH has fallen from a high of $2,487 to $2,317, a 24-hour drop of 5.07%, hitting a two-month low. On the 4-hour chart, ETH tested the $2,400 level three times before finally breaking below, with a wick down near $2,315.
The moving average system has turned fully bearish. ETH has dropped below the 50-day EMA (around $2,493) and continues to trade below the support band formed by the daily EMA120, EMA180, EMA220, and EMA300. The 1-hour ADX is as high as 57.68, confirming strong downward momentum; the 4-hour RSI has entered oversold territory, indicating a possible technical rebound, but the daily moving averages still point bearish, limiting rebound potential.
Key levels: The $2,300 round number below is the short-term critical line; breaking it could trigger a new round of liquidations. Above, the $2,490–$2,550 range is a strong short-term resistance zone, and only reclaiming this area can ease bearish pressure.
---
🔻 Short-Term Pressure: Liquidations, Shorts, and Security Incidents Resonating
The drivers behind this decline are multiple. About $270 million worth of ETH long positions were liquidated forcibly in the past 24 hours, while market maker Wintermute has been steadily building ETH short positions, creating a negative feedback loop of “price drop → liquidation → further drop.” On-chain security incidents have further intensified market concerns about the ecosystem—UNCX shared token lockup pool was hacked for about $86,000, and EIP-7702 wallet attacks have cumulatively stolen $1.54 million.
Additionally, early holders transferred 6,369 ETH (about $15.95 million) to a platform, signaling direct selling pressure. However, BitMine bought about $43 million worth of ETH against the trend, partially hedging the downside.
---
📈 Fundamentals: Staking Lockups Hit All-Time High, Circulating Supply Continues to Tighten
Prices are falling, but staking data is rising. Ethereum’s staking ratio has reached a historic high, with approximately 41.89 million ETH staked, accounting for 34.7% of total supply, with a staking market value of about $78.56 billion and around 789,000 active validators. The staking ratio has recently climbed about 0.77%, while network inflation has dropped to around 0.86%.
BitMine has staked a total of 4.7187 million ETH, worth about $9.76 billion, with a single new stake reaching $11.9 million. About 2.8841 million ETH remain in the staking queue waiting to enter; new participants must wait 50 days before officially staking, while only 89,800 ETH are in the exit queue. A large amount of ETH is locked in PoS consensus, systematically tightening circulating supply.
---
💰 ETF Capital Flows: Ending 10 Consecutive Days of Net Outflows, Funds Begin to Return
ETF capital flows have shown a key turning point. On October 13, the US Ethereum spot ETF recorded a net inflow of $24.84 million, ending a streak of 10 consecutive trading days of net outflows. Fidelity FETH saw inflows of $8.1 million, and Grayscale Mini ETH received $16.7 million.
Earlier data showed that nine Ethereum ETFs had a single-day net inflow as high as 87,266 ETH (about $393 million), with BlackRock alone contributing 80,768 ETH inflows, holding a total of 3.8 million ETH (about $17.11 billion). Arkham data also shows that two Ethereum ETFs under BlackRock bought a combined $1.01 billion worth of Ethereum over the past 20 trading days. The return of ETF funds is the first signal that ETH is stabilizing after continuous outflows.

🚀 Medium-Term Catalyst: Glamsterdam Upgrade Approaching, L1 Throughput Expected to Triple
Ethereum’s next major upgrade, Glamsterdam, was successfully activated on the Sepolia testnet on October 6, with no major faults in block finalization. The upgrade merges the consensus layer Gloas and execution layer Amsterdam, aiming to raise the gas limit from 60 million to about 200 million, an increase of approximately 3.3 times.
Core technical innovations include ePBS (EIP-7732) and block-level access lists (EIP-7928). ePBS extends the validator transaction verification time from about 1 second to 4–9 seconds, creating a safety margin to accommodate more transactions; BAL allows parallel processing of multiple transactions, similar to expanding a single pipeline into multiple concurrent ones. On the Sepolia testnet, the gas limit reached the 200 million target within 11 hours, and the equivalent block Geth execution time dropped from about 115 ms to about 30 ms.
An Ethereum Foundation researcher called it "the largest throughput increase since Ethereum’s launch." The next key milestone is deployment on the Hoodi testnet on October 27, with the mainnet upgrade targeted for Q4 2026. However, the upgrade has been delayed multiple times; whether the Hoodi testnet activates on schedule is the next signal to watch closely.
⚠️ Risks and Concerns
The biggest short-term risks come from changes in Wintermute’s short positions and continued pressure on risk appetite from CPI data. If $2,300 is decisively broken, the next defense line will be in the $2,150–$2,200 range. Medium-term variables to monitor include the execution timeline of the Glamsterdam mainnet upgrade, the sustainability of ETF inflows, and the double-edged effects of rising staking ratios on liquidity (lockups help reduce selling pressure but may exacerbate liquidity shortages in extreme market conditions).486,532 discarded pieces simultaneously placed on the chessboard, while the opponent is counting how many pieces I still have in my pocket. This was my first reaction when Tesla's Q3 delivery numbers reached my ears—deliveries exceeded expectations but shrank by 2.1 percentage points year-over-year, much like a seemingly advantageous but actually losing midgame. Most players get excited seeing a material lead, but true grandmasters focus on pawn structure and cracks in the king's wing, because profit margin and cash flow are the real trump cards in this game.
The main line of electric vehicles has long moved from a fresh opening move into endgame liquidation. Delivery volume is the visible rook, while gross margin is the hidden bishop. The price war has lasted two years; opponents have used discounting as a piece exchange tactic to crush the entire industry's material value. Whether Tesla can push the wheel of automotive gross margin back on track while deliveries recover is the key to deciding if this game transitions into a winning endgame. If gross margin continues to bleed, more deliveries only mean piling pawns on a broken pawn chain—the more you move, the more weaknesses are exposed.
The real killer move is not in the cars. Robotaxi and Optimus are ambushes buried at move sixty—those seemingly amateurish strange moves today that make people slap their heads five years later. The market grades them by quarterly deliveries, essentially using a blitz timer to measure a marathon opening. Whoever puts all their attention on single-quarter cash flow has already been put in check in their mind.
As for that shadow asset linked under the guise of technology, its relationship with Tesla is more like opposite-colored bishops—seemingly echoing on the same color squares but actually separated by the entire diagonal. Emotions can pass through, logic cannot connect. Once Tesla's earnings move after hours, if gross margin falls short of expectations, the shadow asset will first be emotionally sold off, losing half a pawn line—this is passive piece exchange under restraint.
I've seen too many players rush to simplify in advantageous positions, only to turn a winning game into a draw. I've also seen true masters, clearly down in material, who because they calculate deeply, endure, and know which move is the real decisive one, instead wear down their opponents to death in the endgame. Tesla's game, the decisive move is not in delivery numbers but in whether it can prove it is not a carmaker dragged into the endgame by a price war, but a strategic machine not yet fully started. #TeslaQ3ProfitAndMargins Last update before sleep. $BTC rebounded from $79.7k to $82.3k, but spot buyers barely appeared.

In the early morning of October 16, 2026, after the U.S. stock market closed, the market showed an extremely rare split pattern: inflation data continued to surge, but the core logic of market trading had completely shifted to concerns about AI credit risk. The impact of PPI was completely overshadowed by risk aversion sentiment, with funds massively withdrawing from tech stocks and AI-related assets, flowing into U.S. Treasuries, precious metals, and defensive sectors.
U.S. Stocks: Indices closed higher, but inside it was a "mass exodus." #台积电Q3净利润超预期,盈利创历史新高
On the surface, the three major indices all closed higher: the Dow rose 1.08% to 52,177.69, the S&P 500 gained 0.33% to 7,744.06, and the Nasdaq increased 0.08% to 26,713.03. But these numbers masked intense intraday structural divergence. The Nasdaq once fell more than 1.4% before barely recovering.
The real driving force was a large rotation of funds from tech stocks to defensive sectors. Healthcare, retail, and other defensive stocks were the main drivers of the Dow's rise, while AI and semiconductor sectors faced concentrated sell-offs. The Philadelphia Semiconductor Index fell more than 4% intraday and closed down 0.88%, marking its seventh consecutive trading day of decline—the longest losing streak since May 2025. Nvidia dropped over 1%, SpaceX fell more than 2%, while Microsoft and Micron Technology rose over 1% against the trend but could not reverse the sector's overall downturn.
In stark contrast, precious metals and $BTC reserve concept stocks led gains. Circle rose over 9%, Coinbase over 6%, Strategy over 5%, Jintian over 4%, and Pan American Silver over 3%. These gains reflect the market's response to AI credit risk and tightening financial conditions—funds are seeking assets decoupled from the AI narrative.
U.S. Treasuries: Yields plunged, risk aversion logic completely overwhelmed inflation logic #创作者激励
The most thought-provoking signal that night came from the U.S. Treasury market. PPI rose 6.3% year-over-year, far exceeding the expected 5.3%, and surged 1.3% month-over-month—the largest single-month increase since March 2022. Normally, such data would push yields higher and bond prices lower.
But the reality was the exact opposite. U.S. Treasury yields plunged across the board: the 10-year yield fell 12.60 basis points to 5.062%, the 30-year dropped 11.50 basis points to 5.407%, and the 2-year declined 6.20 basis points to 4.736%. The 10-year yield briefly touched 5.037% intraday, the lowest since September 23.
The core driver of this anomaly was the concentrated exposure of AI credit risk. CoreWeave's bond prices quickly fell to levels typically signaling financial distress, and its debt financing instruments remained under pressure, serving as the most direct alarm of AI over-leveraging in the credit market. As the market began to worry that the AI bubble might burst in the form of a credit event, U.S. Treasuries instantly reactivated their role as the ultimate safe-haven asset, with yield declines completely overshadowing the inflation data impact.
U.S. Dollar: Largest drop in over a month, cracks appear in safe-haven status
The U.S. Dollar Index fell 0.49% that day to 102.055, erasing all gains from the higher-than-expected CPI and PPI data, marking the largest single-day drop since September 3.
The dollar's decline shared the same root cause as the plunge in Treasury yields. When AI credit concerns dominate the narrative, funds flow into U.S. government bonds rather than dollar cash. The dollar's role as the "pricing currency for U.S. risk assets" came under pressure amid worries about spontaneous tightening of financial conditions. The market is reassessing the suppressive effect of high financing costs on corporate investment, a concern that outweighs the short-term yield support from inflation data.
Gold: Treasury yield plunge sparks rebound, recovers all weekly losses
$XAU was one of the clearest beneficiaries that night. Spot gold closed at $4,170.48/oz, up $65.63, a 1.60% increase. Spot silver rose even more sharply, surging 3.19% to $57.398/oz. The main domestic Shanghai gold contract also closed up 0.99% in the night session, at 899 yuan/gram.
The logic behind gold's rebound is clear: the plunge in Treasury yields directly lowered the opportunity cost of holding non-yielding assets, while the weaker dollar boosted purchasing power for non-U.S. buyers. The 10-year Treasury yield fell about 10 basis points to 5.09%, marking the largest single-day drop since August 2025, providing the most direct impetus for gold. Meanwhile, funds partially withdrew from tech and AI-related risk assets, shifting toward more defensive precious metals, adding extra safe-haven buying pressure.
Crude Oil: $CL and Brent diverge unusually, inventory data drives short-term trend
Crude oil was another asset showing significant divergence that night. WTI crude futures settled at $97.97/barrel, up 3.03%, marking the sixth consecutive trading day of gains. But Brent crude slightly fell 0.13% to $105.92/barrel.
WTI's strength mainly came from a sharp drop in U.S. crude inventories, supporting near-month contract pricing. Brent was pressured by IEA member countries' commitment to release 100 million barrels of oil not yet delivered from March intervention actions, creating opposing supply expectations between the two benchmarks.
On the geopolitical front, Trump stated he is considering joining strikes against the Houthi forces in response to their attacks on Saudi Arabia and threats to global energy supplies. This statement provided bottom support for oil prices but has not yet escalated into actual supply disruptions.
Overall Assessment
The core contradiction in the market that night can be summarized in one sentence: inflation data is "old news," AI credit risk is the "news." The PPI surge confirmed the spread of energy inflation, but the market has clearly become marginally desensitized—most position adjustments were already made after the previous day's CPI shock. The real driver of trading was the chain of concerns triggered by the CoreWeave bond collapse: if AI-related debt financing starts to falter, whether the Fed raises rates becomes secondary, because spontaneous tightening of financial conditions could be more damaging than any policy rate adjustment. #美国CPI与PPI双超预期,年内能否再加息? MSCI officially approves new regulations, Strategy faces risk of removal from global indices On October 15, 2026, MSCI officially approved a new index inclusion framework that defines and classifies "non-operating companies" as entities ineligible for inclusion in the MSCI Global Investable Market Indexes. The new regulations will take effect at the close of November 30, 2026. Although this decision will not immediately remove Strategy from the MSCI benchmark index, it establishes a set of financial testing criteria; once these are not met, Strategy will lose eligibility for inclusion in the MSCI Global Equity Indexes. The core of the new regulations involves two screening steps. The first screening examines whether a company's operating assets exceed 50% of total assets; if so, no further analysis is required. Companies failing the first screening enter a second stage of five financial ratio tests, including operating asset intensity, expense intensity, negative operating cash flow, excessive proportion of fair value changes, and excessive reliance on external capital. If a company fails at least four of these tests, it will be deemed ineligible for inclusion. MSCI's simulation based on May 2026 data shows that Strategy, Japan's Metaplanet, and uranium investment company Yellow Cake will be removed from the MSCI Global Investable Market Index. Strategy's free float-adjusted market capitalization is $23.9 billion, making it the largest company among those potentially removed. JPMorgan's calculations provide specific details
